Galápagos Origin se concibe como una secuencia y no como un resort convencional. Los huéspedes llegan por agua, atraviesan el terreno volcánico y descubren una arquitectura baja, táctil y profundamente conectada con la isla. Llegada, encuentro, bienestar y retiro se convierten en una experiencia continua.
A timber path rises gently from the water and crosses the volcanic landscape. The architecture never announces itself as an object; it appears gradually through vegetation, shadow and texture.
Público spaces use bamboo structure, woven roofs, volcanic stone and filtered daylight to create a contemporary language rooted in local material intelligence.
Fitness and spa spaces are embedded within the terrain. Daylight enters indirectly, surfaces remain tactile, and views return the body to the scale of the island.
The design process studies circulation, modular growth, bamboo construction, climatic response and the relationship between villas and topography.
The project treats environmental thinking as architecture rather than an added layer: orientation, shade, natural ventilation, local materials, solar collection and rainwater strategies are integrated into the spatial language from the beginning.
